We can never know everything; all of our choices have elements of the unknown. As individuals and as a society we face many risks and uncertainties, but these can also be turned into opportunities. Indeed, embracing these uncertainties may often lead us to better decision-making.

The 2019 Nobel Week Dialogue will discuss how we deal with what we do not know and accept that there are things we cannot know.

Welcome to celebrate Lucia!
On 13 December University of Gothenburg invite you to an evening filled with lights, music and the opportunity to mingle as well. We will of course serve, as tradition dictates, glögg (spiced mulled alcoholic free wine) and lussekatter (saffron buns). The evening will include a visit by the Gothenburg Academic Chamber Choir, performing a traditional ”Luciatåg” (singing Lucia procession), and we will also tell you about the history of this important day.
