Bus Sightseeing in Gothenburg

Join us on a guided bus tour around Gothenburg and explore the most famous sights in the city. You will get to see places, buildings and hear more about our international city throughout the years. We will also stop off for a traditional Swedish “fika” along the way.

Traditional Lucia Celebration

We are pleased to invite visiting researchers from Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg to join us in this pre-Christmas celebration. With origins in both pagan and Christian traditions, the Swedish Lucia celebration is one of the highlights of the winter season.

Explore the International Science Festival

Bring your family/partner/friend

Welcome to the 2000 m2 pop up Science Centre ”Experimentverkstaden”. Experimentverkstaden is a place for kids in the ages of 5-12 –  as well as for adults – to learn about science in fun and different ways. How about programming a robot, build a prospective version of Gothenburg and make your own key chain? Here you will find something for everybody. To this activitiy you are most welcome to bring your family/partner/friend.
Fika is included.
Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Explore Brännö in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago

Welcome to explore one of the islands in the archipelago. We meet at the tram station at Saltholmen and take the ferry to Brännö. The visit starts with a guided tour at the island that ends up at Brännö Shipyard. After a nice evening with light food and quiz we take the ferry back to Saltholmen at 20:00.
Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

When: Wednesday 23 May, 2018 at 16:00-20:30.
Where: Brännö Island.
Meeting Point: Saltholmen tram station at 16:00.
Travelling to Saltholmen: Tram nr 11 from central of Gothenburg.
Availability:  The guided tour takes place on hilly land on the island. The boat ride and the road to Bränno Shipyard are accessible.
